Introduced to taekwondo at six by a best friend, Caden quickly discovered that the poomsae side of Taekwondo, with its patterns, rhythms, and emphasis on patience, was the perfect way to channel his energy and temper. It brought him discipline in school, respect for others, and the first spark of competitive ambition.

At 14, he transitioned to the fighting side of the sport, swapping patterns for full-contact bouts. From there, the goals kept getting bigger: first to be the best in his club, then in his region, then in the country. That mindset carried him onto the GB cadet squad, across Europe for competitions, and eventually into the full-time GB Taekwondo programme, a journey that would see him crowned heavyweight European Champion, European Games Champion, and a silver-medal-winning Olympian.

For Caden, success in the ring isn’t just about skill or strength.
