The Melbourne Rebels are pleased to announce OPRO, the world’s largest manufacturer of the most technically advanced mouthguard, will be renewing their partnership with the Club for another two years.
The partnership, which will enter its twelfth season by the end of the new agreement and one of the longest in the Club’s history, will see OPRO’s mouthguard technology continue to be used by both the Super Rugby Pacific and Super W squads.
Melbourne Rebels CEO Baden Stephenson was thrilled that OPRO is extending their partnership.
“It is so important for us that our world-class partners extend their connection to the Club, and the fact that OPRO will be entering their twelfth year with us is a testament to that,” Stephenson said.
“We’ve loved working with Daniel and his team, and I know our players feel confident when they take the field wearing OPRO.”
OPRO Commercial Director, Daniel Lovat says the OPRO team are equally thrilled.
“We’re honoured to be continuing our partnership with the Rebels. OPRO has been a proud partner of the Rebels for the last 11 years and we look forward to providing our Instant Custom-Fits to the team and ensuring they have the best protection for their teeth. We are looking forward to the seasons ahead and watching the Rebels back at AAMI Park."
OPRO is dedicated to bringing leading technology and safety to athletes at all levels and is the official mouthguard partner of more than 70 teams and associations, including England Rugby, Wales Rugby, and New Zealand Rugby.
