OPRO Partners with the Rugby Players Association

OPRO, the world’s most technically advanced mouthguard company, is proud to announce a new partnership with the Rugby Players Association (RPA), as an Official Supporter of the RPA.

As part of the partnership, OPRO will provide comprehensive educational resources and support for the RPA’s members regarding the benefits and proper usage of OPRO mouthguards, including the Prevent Biometrics iMG (smart mouthguard), made by OPRO.

This collaboration underscores OPRO's commitment to enhancing player safety and promoting best practices within rugby.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the RPA," said Daniel Lovat, Commercial Director at OPRO. "This partnership allows us to directly support all elite rugby players in England, the majority of whom, wear our state-of-the-art mouthguards. Additionally, we are excited about the mentoring and insight opportunities this partnership brings, which will benefit both OPRO and the RPA members."

Richard McFaul, RPA Head of Commercial, said:We are really pleased to be working with OPRO, they are such a prominent name in the world of rugby and like us, they are keen to support elite rugby players during their career.  We look forward to working with OPRO to bring their key insights and support to our members in the development of smart mouthguards across the elite game.

The Rugby Players Association is the representative body and collective voice of elite rugby players in England. We represent more than 600 male and female current rugby players, as well as more than 100 former players.

It is our mission to support, promote and protect the interests of our members, from the moment they begin their elite careers, throughout their playing days, and beyond as they embark on the next phase of their lives.

Our members enjoy a wide range of benefits, including: independent representation; legal advice; personal and professional development; playing insurance; education; confidential counselling; transition support; and much more. Members can also access the support of our official charity, Restart, in the event of serious illness, injury or hardship.
