Compression Cage

Brand New Instant Custom-Fit

For precision fit, there is no better fitting device than the patented OPRO Compression Cage.
Did you know the human jaw can exert an incredible pressure of up to 120 PSI, compared with the 60 PSI exerted by a dental thermoforming machine used in making custom-fit mouthguards!
This revolutionary fitting device, uses hyperflex technology to harness the immense power of the jaw to compress the mouthguard on to the teeth and gums during moulding, resulting in a truly bespoke, dentist level fit.
The compression cage comes in two forms:
• Dual Compression Cage in the Adult Instant Custom-Fit range
• Single Compression Cage in the Braces and Youth Instant Custom-Fit range

Fitting Tool

Platinum and Gold - Fitting Cradle

By using the patented fitting cradle that is included with the Platinum and Gold Self-Fit mouthguards, you can align your mouthguard centrally during the moulding process leading to a more retentive and secure fit. Use of fitting cradle also makes it possible to maintain a minimum thickness between top and bottom teeth, providing air cushions for comfort.

Silver - Fitting Handle

Our Silver mouthguard accurately moulds to teeth and gums with the help of a patented fitting handle. In just a few minutes, you’ll get an enhanced fit mouthguard that rests comfortably in the mouth.

Patented Fin Technology

From Bronze to Instant Custom-Fit

Our innovative and patented fins are unique to the OPRO mouthguard range and form a flexible impression tray within the mouthguard itself. The design and placement of the fins are based on extensive data we’ve gathered over 25 years from over 1 million mouths for whom we’ve made bespoke, custom-fit mouthguards.
During the fitting process, the fins effectively take an impression of the wearer’s mouth and soften to mould around the shape of the wearer’s teeth and gums to create an accurate impression of them and provide a truly bespoke level of fit.

The number and construction of the fins varies at each product level, namely:

Instant Custom-Fit (13 fins)

• Self-impression hi-flow gel fins securely mould around your teeth and gums for dentist level fit

Platinum and Gold (13 fins)

• Advanced fin technology with anatomically placed fins that accurately mould to the contours of your teeth and gums.

Silver and Bronze (11 fins)

• Classic fin technology with patented fins that are strategically placed to mould to the contours of your teeth and gums.

Snap-Fit - Instant-Fit Technology

OPRO’s Snap-Fit mouthguard has already been expertly shaped to rest comfortably over teeth and gums so there’s no need for boiling or moulding. Minimal effort and fantastic protection, instantly. Pop in and play!

Gel Inner Channels

The unique gel forming the fins and inner channel of OPRO’s Self-Fit and Instant Custom-Fit mouthguards, is formulated from a special (and secret!) recipe. When moulded, these patented fins provide exceptional grip and a gel inner channel with increasing levels in comfort throughout the range.

OPRO’s Bronze and Silver level mouthguards are made using our classic fins whereas the Bronze gel inner channel is made from our regular gel, we use a hi-flow gel for our Silver mouthguards. This hi-flow gel is more fluid and moulds more easily around the teeth and gums during the fitting process.

The Gold and Platinum mouthguards feature our advanced fins and gel inner channel. The advancement in the anatomical placement of the fins and use of our ultra hi-flow material ensure that the fit and comfort of these mouthguards is unsurpassed by any other Self-Fit mouthguard available.

For the ultimate in dentist level fit and comfort, there is no better choice than our Instant Custom-Fit mouthguard. Our self-impression fins, which feature in the Instant Custom-Fit, represent a further leap forward in technological advancement. Made from our ultimate flow gel material, they flow evenly around the teeth and gums during the moulding process to create a cushioned and light as air inner gel channel.

Biomaster – Antimicrobial Additive

We've teamed up with Biomaster, world leaders in antimicrobial protection, to create ultra-hygienic mouthguards.
Using silver-based antimicrobial additives, Biomaster offers permanent protection against harmful bacteria, fungi and moulds for the lifetime of the mouthguard.
From Silver level upwards, OPRO Self-Fit mouthguards contain the Biomaster antimicrobial additive. Odour and taste-free, it protects against 99.99% of bacteria and what’s more, it has also been proven to be resistant to MRSA.
